What are Jelly Nails?
Jelly Nails are basically transparent acrylic nails. They're translucent, meaning you can still pick a colour or design, but you can still see through them a little bit.
Some people call them Glass Nails, as they look like they're made from glass.
The transparent nails trend blew up when Kylie Jenner posted the above photo on her insta. The reality TV star went for a bright pink colour, and we've been spying multi-coloured and patterned versions on Instagram and Pinterest ever since. brb, booking in for a mani.

Can I do Jelly Nails at home?
If you're able to apply acrylics yourself, then go for it. For the uninitiated, then it's probs best to book in at your local nail salon to make sure they nail the Jelly Nails trend.
If you want to get the look rather than try the trend in its entirety, shop our edit of clear nail polish below. They key is to go super glossy. Whether you wear the clear gloss on its own or over another colour, gloss is most definitely boss.
